AL SIDDIQ INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
On Friday, November 15, 2024, the pupils of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten participated in a sports learning activity in the school yard. This activity focused on Squat Thrust exercises, which are designed to develop flexibility and lower body strength. Before starting, the children were asked to warm up to prevent injury and prepare their bodies for more intense physical activities. This warm-up included simple stretching movements led by Ms. Vita, their physical education teacher, who always makes the training atmosphere fun and interactive.
In the Squat Thrust session, Ms. Vita used a creative method to make it easier for the children to understand and enjoy this exercise. She used animal codes as movement instructions: "frog" for the squat position, "crocodile" for the push-up position, and "kangaroo" for the jump. With these codes, the children were able to follow the instructions with more enthusiasm and focus. When they heard the word "frog," they immediately squatted down, ready to jump like a kangaroo when they heard "kangaroo," and posed like a crocodile when they heard "crocodile. This approach not only keeps them focused and motivated, but also improves agility and lower body muscle strength in a way that is appropriate and fun for young children.
